Nepal Name T20 Squad — Betting Markets Open
The squad is public, which is the moment bookmakers price a tournament properly. Here is what opened and what moves it.
Nepal's T20 squad has been confirmed, and the markets that stayed thin while selection was open have now been priced in full. That timing is not a coincidence: an outright price is a read on a whole squad, so bookmakers hold back until they know who is in it.

Why a squad announcement reprices everything
Prices published before selection carry a margin for the unknown. Once the names are out, that margin comes off and the market reprices hard in the first hours — which is also when the value disappears fastest.
Two things matter more than the rest. Bowling depth decides more subcontinental T20 tournaments than batting does, and the fixture path matters as much as the squad: a side that avoids the strongest opponent until a knockout is worth more than its raw rating suggests.
The markets worth knowing
Outright winner. One price, settled at the end. Your stake is committed for the whole tournament with no way to trade out other than cash out.
To qualify. Shorter odds, shorter wait, and usually where the value sits when a strong side lands in a soft group.
Top run-scorer. Settled on aggregate runs. It rewards whoever plays every match, which is why openers in sides expected to go deep are always short — you are paying for deliveries faced.
Top wicket-taker. Same logic with the ball, with the extra variable that a bowler's overs depend on how matches unfold.
Reading the price in NPR
Decimal odds are the default: multiply your stake by the decimal for the total return. NPR 1,000 at 4.50 returns NPR 4,500, of which NPR 3,500 is profit. If the conversions are new to you, our guide to reading betting odds covers all three formats.
No prices are quoted here on purpose. Outrights move daily on team news and results, so check the live market before you stake.
Tournament markets are open now in NPR.

Match markets open closer to each fixture, and cricket in-play is where the sharpest movement happens — two wickets in an over shift a match-winner price further than any pre-match news. If you plan to bet live, fund the account before the toss rather than queuing a deposit while the price runs away.
What Happens After a Squad Announcement
The first hours after a squad announcement are when the market reprices hardest, and also when the value disappears fastest. An outright price published before selection carries a margin for the unknown, and that margin comes off the moment the names are public.
Individual selections open at the same time and behave differently. A squad announcement tells you who is available; it does not tell you the eleven, which is confirmed at the toss. Player markets taken in between are priced on a selection guess as well as a cricket one.
The outright price is the one worth watching rather than backing immediately. Where it moves sharply in the first day and then settles, the settled number is usually the better one, because it contains the reaction rather than anticipating it.
Bowling depth moves an outright price further than batting does in subcontinental conditions, and the fixture path matters as much as the squad itself.
