What Is Being Blocked

Isp blocking operates on addresses. A provider is instructed to make specific domains unreachable from its network, and it does so without any interaction with the service behind them.

The blocking scope is therefore national and address-based. An operator continues to run normally; the route to it from one country's networks does not exist. That is why the count of blocked addresses grows rather than settling.

What It Does Not Reach

Accounts, balances, open bets and pending withdrawals live on servers outside the country and are unaffected. A blocked address is a network event rather than anything happening to a user's account.
