What Was Ordered
A government instruction in March 2026 required internet service providers to block betting sites and applications within twenty-four hours. Domain blocking was executed at provider level rather than through any action against operators, who sit outside Nepali jurisdiction.
By the middle of April more than ten thousand domains were reported unreachable, with Nepal Telecom alone citing over twenty-one thousand blocked addresses.
What Blocking Reaches
Domain blocking targets addresses rather than the services behind them. An operator remains operational; the route to it from Nepali networks does not. That distinction explains why new addresses appear and why the list of blocked domains keeps growing.
It also means nothing happens to an account. Balances, open bets and pending withdrawals live on the operator's servers and are unaffected by a domain being unreachable from one country.
The Legal Position
Gambling is criminalised for residents under the Muluki Criminal Code 2074, and circumventing a block is treated as participation rather than as a separate technical question. This site publishes no VPN, DNS or proxy guidance for that reason.

The Practical Consequence Is Phishing
Blocked sectors attract impostors, because people searching for an alternative address are by definition willing to try an unfamiliar one. A convincing copy on an unknown domain is the standard shape of a fraudulent site rather than a lucky find.
Two habits cover almost all of the risk. Never enter a password on an address you cannot verify, and never upload identity documents outside a session you started yourself. Identity documents are worth more to a fraudster than any balance.
Nobody legitimate asks for a password, and anyone offering to fund a betting balance on your behalf is running a reversal scam in which their transfer is undone and your credit is not.
Nothing About It Is Urgent
Balances, open bets, pending withdrawals and bonus progress all sit on servers outside the country. An unreachable address changes none of them, which means there is always time to arrive through a page you already trust rather than clicking the first result in a search.
